Limbacher & Godfrey served as Historic Preservation Consultant and was author of the Conditions, Analysis and Forensics Investigation.  They also served as Historic Preservation Consultant and were co-author of the Historic Structures Report and Preservation Master Plan.

The San Patricio County Courthouse was built in 1927, and has been modified over the years in ways that were not always compatible or sympathetic with the historic building.  Exterior deterioration had progresssed to a critical point, and pieces of the masonry exterior had fallen away.  A building-wide investigation revealed an urgent need to conduct exploratory probing at the parapet level, where the most severe deterioration had occured.

In a subsequent project, as a part of the Texas Courthouse Preservation Project, a Historic Structures Report and Preservation Master Plan was prepared for the building.
